The OnSiteMonitor platform will support many devices regardless of the manufacturer. This is accomplished using the following methods:

  1. Using the Manufacturer's specific communication method to read status and issue controls to the devices.
  2. Supports any smart device using the Alexa platform.
  3. Supports any smart device using the Home Assistant platform.

Try Before You Buy

Devices can be added in "simulation" mode so you can test the functionality of the system. Physical devices can be purchased and added at any time.

Any device available via the Internet does not require simulation. They can be added with actual parameters and tested in real time. This includes items like:

    • Home Assistant Integration

    Use OnSiteMonitor to compliment your Home Assistant Installations. Access and control your Home Assistant devices using the OnSiteMonitor platform without removing any Home Assistant functionality. Utilize automation features through Events/Actions, Routines for randomized/repeatable actions, Alerting using SMS, MMS, Email, and Voice Phone Calls.

    Home Assistant devices are treated as any other device. Any device, including Home Assistant devices, are available for any automation operation.

    Alexa Supported Devices

    If a smart device is capable of being detected by Alexa devices, then OnSiteMonitor can issue controls to the device as part of a comprehensive automation platform.

    Alexa is used as the gateway that allows OnSiteMonitor to communicate to the end point devices no matter where they are located.

    Web Hooks are used to issue commands to Alexa enabled devices. Web URLs are used to communicate back to OnSiteMonitor when the status of a device changes.

    Monitor & Control

    OnSiteMonitor is able to communicate directly with smart devices. For more information on these devices, click the button below for the supported device list.

    The platform is able to scan devices for status changes and perform actions on that status. This automation allows you to create custom solutions to fit your needs.

    New devices are always under review. As support for new devices are ready, they will become available for adding to your licensed software or subscription.

    Standard License

    A license applies to the software that you download and install on your own computer. The software is completely managed by you. All application configurations, devices management, and alerts are all managed by locally.

    A license does not expire. Software support however, does expire annually. Software Support allows you to upgrade to new versions when they become available. The application will continue to run after support has expired.

    Online Subscription

    A subscription allows you OnSiteMonitor without having to operate the software on your own computer. You purchase and install the device(s) and we provide all the rest. This includes scanning, alerts, and reporting for your devices. Additional features are available with the service which include, but not limited to, web portal, reporting, data integrations, and more.

    While there are a specific list of devices that are certified for the Online Service, we have created 'Solution Groups' that help you to select devices to satisfy a common requirement.
